Curly Culture is creating the ultimate experience to celebrate curly hair! CurlyCon LA is a one day convention where the vibrant world of curly hair takes center stage. It will be an exhilarating, immersive experience that brings together curly girls from all walks of life—guests will indulge in a day filled with networking, learning, engagement, and uncovering the secrets to embracing and managing those gorgeous curls.
Rolling Greens on Mateo, 1005 Mateo St, Los Angeles, CA 90021. Registration is on Bay Street.
Doors Open at 11 AM and the event ends at 6:30 PM.
There is limited street parking so we strongly encourage you to use a ride share service. There will be valet onsite for $30.
Brand partners and approved press may enter registration through the VIP line for expedited entry.
A: Brunch-chic
A: There will be a Curly Cocktailz bar, Frosé, rolled ice cream and several food trucks.
A: Yes, all are welcome. Kids 12 and under are free.
A: Small bags, purses, and clear bags are permitted.
A: Weapons (guns, knives or weapons of any kind), fireworks, explosives, illegal substances, glass containers and cans, framed or large backpacks, or non-transparent bags (any bag that is not clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC and over 12”x6”x12”, lensed cameras, long lens cameras or professional photography equipment, radios, boomboxes, instruments or devices with amplified sound, laser pointers, pets of any kind (except for working service dogs) and items for vending (unauthorized vendors will not be allowed).
A: Our videographers will record, but it will not be used for public consumption outside of social media soundbites.
By entering an event or program of CurlyCon LA, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.
Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Curly Culture CurlyCon LA and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.
By entering the summit premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the summit, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.
You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the summit premises.
